         What exactly is a 1 & 1/2 camera shoot ??

One camera is locked in place on a tripod in a key position at the ceremony. It is left alone and running the entire ceremony. It offers 3 advantages: (1) it allows me to roam the floor of the church discreetly with camera #2 and allows for seamless editing between both cameras; so once the bridal party comes down the aisle, every second of the ceremony is recorded. (2) It offers another source of audio if and when interference is experienced with the lapel pin microphone worn by the groom to ensure the vows are heard clearly. And (3) it serves as a backup camera the rest of the day if needed.

What type of lighting is used ? Will you be up close with bright lights ??

Only on camera lighting is used. No giant flood lights are used. Most times a 10 watt and on occasion 20 watts are used. Just enough light to ensure the quality of the finished product. During the ceremony 10 watts is used only as the bridal party comes down the aisle. At the reception I am constantly aware that my main priority is to allow the atmosphere created by the DJ or Band to dominate. My main role is to use the minimal amount of light so no one is discouraged from getting out on the dance floor and having a good time.

Will guests also be allowed to videotape/record ??

Yes, I have never prevented any guest from also taping/recording. My only requirement being that, if they are using lights, they do not disturb the atmosphere.

Will the DVD I receive play on my DVD player ??

There are several different DVD formats being used. the two most dominant being DVD-R and DVD+R. All consumers are given (2) -R's and (1) +R final DVD products. Older DVD players will only play one format while most new players will play both. Beware that some new combination VHS and DVD players will ONLY play DVD's produced in Hollywood. Since both -R and +R are provided, the cosumer can mix and match the format to a particular player.
